Hiring a Dietary Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee dietary services across various settings, including hospitals, schools, and hotels. You will ensure food safety, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trays and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Remove food debris from eating utensils and trays.

• Support the department with general tasks such as disposing of waste and stocking inventory.

• Cover all positions as needed within the department under general supervision of the Dietary Services Manager.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food handling, line cooking, and food preparation.

• Knowledge of dietary services and food safety protocols.

• Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow written and verbal directions in English.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Reliability, accountability, and effective communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (a lift test will be performed at the clinic).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a related field (hospital, hotel, school & universities, restaurant, catering, etc.).

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Los Angeles, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Hospital offers full health benefits and 401K. Is a union environment that is expanding in the new year.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Los Angeles,CA 90026.
