Description

Client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Fiscal Accounting Department as a Data Entry/File Clerk. This entry-level position plays a crucial role in supporting the department's efficiency by accurately inputting financial data and maintaining organized files. The successful candidate will work closely with our fiscal team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.

Responsibilities:

Data Entry:

Accurately input financial data into relevant databases and accounting systems.

Ensure timely and error-free data entry to maintain the integrity of financial records.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.

File Maintenance:

Organize and maintain physical and digital files in accordance with departmental standards.

Retrieve and file documents promptly to facilitate easy access for team members.

Assist in archiving and purging records in compliance with company policies.

Record Keeping:

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Monitor and track documentation to support auditing processes.

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standardized record-keeping procedures.

Communication:

Collaborate with team members to address data entry and filing requirements.

Communicate effectively with other departments to gather necessary information.

Report any issues or discrepancies promptly to the supervisor.
