Sr. Systems Engineer

Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Fully On-Site)

Salary: Up to $170K

A well-established organization is seeking a skilled Sr. Systems Engineer to join its IT team. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability across all systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking, server administration, cloud services, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.

• Manage cloud services, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.

• Monitor backups, security alerts, and server performance to ensure uptime and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS-level, and network-related issues.

• Implement and manage secure authentication mechanisms, including MFA and access controls.

• Configure and manage file shares, storage systems, and data protection policies.

• Provide advanced technical support for server-related issues and system performance.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and security configurations.

• Experience with security frameworks, patch management, access controls, and encryption.

• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues effectively.

• Hands-on experience with Autopilot, Intune, and workstation imaging solutions.

• Experience configuring secure authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAPS, and MFA.

• 7+ years of experience in the legal industry or other professional services industries

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., iManage Work).

• Experience with Microsoft Entra, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.

• Knowledge of advanced security technologies, including SIEM, DLP, and zero-trust security models.
