Hill International is seeking a Sr. Scheduler in Los Angeles, California

 

  • Prepare and build all project schedules collaboratively with the project team.

  • Participate in all phases of construction planning and scheduling process, including creating contract, procurement, baseline, and track schedules.

  • Conduct regular project visits to review job status and apply construction sequencing knowledge to maintain project schedules accurately.

  • Identify and effectively communicate schedule challenges, risks, and conflicts to stakeholders and provide corrective suggestions and creative solutions.

  • Assist project team in schedule sequencing, methods of construction, project delays and impacts, alternate work plans, and recovery schedules.

  • Participate and provide feedback in project pre-planning, post-construction, and monthly project status review meetings.

  • Provide professional guidance and support to project team to help develop project WBS structures, budgets, resource forecasts, risk registers, progress reports and standardized reporting.

  • Create and manage change orders.

  • Oversee change order submittal, negotiation, and approval processes.

  • Perform cost estimating when requested.

  • Earned Value Management by working with the project manager.

     

  • 15+ years of increasing responsibility roles within the engineering/project controls/program management industry.

  • Collaborative team player.

  • Proficient in Primavera (P6) Software(preferred), and other construction project management software.

  • Can read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.

  • Recognize areas of concern and potential improvements to schedule sequencing during job site visits.

  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling software, and implementation.

  • Strong knowledge of work activity sequence, durations, and critical path method.

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is $195,000 - $240,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
