Description We are seeking to fill the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk for our team in Louisville, Kentucky. The role is crucial to our finance department and involves handling invoice processing as well as managing accounts payable related tasks. This opportunity offers a short-term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices

• Utilize accounts payable software, such as Concur, to manage and track invoices

• Handle inquiries related to accounts payable and resolve them efficiently

• Coordinate travel arrangements for the team when necessary

• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow

• Maintain and update all accounts payable records and transactions

• Assist with other related tasks as needed in the department

• Monitor account activities and report any discrepancies

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial records

• Continuously improve the accounts payable process by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.

• Familiarity with Concur software for expense reporting.

• Ability to coordinate travel arrangements efficiently.

• Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven problem-solving abilities.

• High degree of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

• Experience with financial software and databases is a plus.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is advantageous.
