We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Insurance Verification Coordinator in Louisville, KY! Working in the insurance industry, this role involves handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing applications. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with various software such as Epic and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities of the Insurance Verification Coordinator:

• Effectively answer inbound calls and provide information to customers

• Verify patient insurance eligibility

• Utilize Epic to manage customer data

• Process and accurate calculate patient responsibility (copays, deductible, coins, and self-pay deposits)

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Manage authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions effectively

• Administer claim administration duties efficiently

• Ensure all tasks adhere to industry regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Epic

• Ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently

• 1+ year of Insurance verification experience

• Knowledge of authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions

• Experience with claim administration

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection laws

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
