About the Role:
As a Product Manager at Heartland, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our innovative products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define, build, and launch products that delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Product Roadmap: Create and manage a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and functionalities based on strategic objectives.
Feature Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product features, write requirements, and prioritize development efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
Product Launch: Oversee product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer education.
Product Performance: Monitor product performance post-launch, gather feedback, and make data-driven decisions to improve product success.
Customer Focus: Advocate for the customer's needs and ensure that products meet their expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in product management or a similar role.
Strong understanding of product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Experience gathering and documenting software requirements.
Proven ability to analyze market data and customer feedback.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Passion for building exceptional products and delivering value to customers.
Proven track record of successful product launches.
Experience with data analysis tools and metrics.
Experience working with remote teams.
Experience in HR tech, Human Capital Management (HCM) or Payroll software is required. Time and attendance and mobile app development experience is strongly preferred.
