Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading a team of tax professionals and fostering the ongoing development of our tax practice. This position involves assisting clients and your team with tax planning, research, and communication across a broad spectrum of tax services.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in managing tax practice associates and administrative staff

• Provide assistance with tax planning, research, and communication for individual, partnership, corporate, trusts, and estates tax services

• Analyze changes in tax regulations and strategically enhance practice skills to adapt to evolving needs

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of client businesses and identify their needs and opportunities

• Collaborate with clients to implement effective solutions to their tax-related needs

• Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns

• Ensure the efficient use of Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax

• Oversee accounting functions and annual income tax provision

• Adhere to and ensure compliance in all tasks

• Manage and assist in entity formation and auditing tasks. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tax Manager role in the public sector

• Proficiency in various Accounting Software Systems is expected

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Knowledge of CaseWare is required

• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is crucial

• Competence in CCH Sales Tax is important

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is necessary

• Experience in calculating Annual Income Tax Provision is required

• Auditing skills are mandatory

• Compliance management skills are expected

• Knowledge of Entity Formation is important
