Adecco is currently assisting a local client recruiting for Material Handler Jobs in Louisville, KY. These Material Handler Jobs are temp to hire opportunities!

Material Handler jobs require candidates to report to the Warehouse Manager and work with other members of the warehouse team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction within a warehouse environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

Responsibilities for Material Handler jobs include but are not limited to:

• Handle inventory as a warehouse helper, shipping and receiving helper, or traffic helper

• Sort and organize merchandise so that it can be easily located

• Keep records of items received and damaged merchandise returned

• Tag and place inventory as it is received from vendors

• Position will require helping customers at the front counter as well as answering phones and processing payments and credits

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Material Handler jobs:

• Forklift experience required and Reach Truck preferred

• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required

• Occasionally required: lifting/pushing/carrying items up to or more than 50 pounds, working around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals

• Frequently required: walking, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling or crawling, talking or hearing, utilization of visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard, working in high, precarious places

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
