The EHS Analyst is responsible for ensuring all associates can safely help us
achieve our mission and vision in scientific research, and medicine to the world.
This position reports to the EHS & Facilities Manager and is part of the EHS team that is located in Loveland, Colorado and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide input into corporate EHS standards and initiatives to help drive continuous improvement in safety and sustainability
Coach and serve as mentor for the site-level associates on EHS related issues
Coordinate safety activities, i.e., monthly audits, monthly meetings, and publishing/posting of metrics as well as lead/maintain safety, first aid, spill kit, and protective equipment supplies; site contact for waste management
Lead and deliver training to ensure compliance and build EHS functional competency
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree with 2+ years experience working with EHS and overseeing corresponding activities.
Experience working with processes to maintain compliance of legal, corporate policy, procedures and initiatives
Familiarity with researching new or existing laws, rules, and regulations and make recommendations regarding appropriate actions
Experience coordinating daily management of EHS activities, implement initiatives across the site acting as a champion of driving improvements, safety and sustainability.
Experience providing support and coordination of the safety incident management system; facilitating incident investigation process, conducting accident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 10% as needed for Kaizens, events
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lbs
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
General knowledge and understanding of GenSuite or comparable compliance system
Hazardous waste management experience
The salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
