Position Description:
Performs specialized, complex work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established guidelines with performance based on overall results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions:
Resolve customer's service or billing complaints by performing activities such as investigating and seeking appropriate resolutions.
Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments as well as actions taken.
Checks to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
Determine charges for service requested, collect deposits or payments, or arrange for billing.
Serve as departmental liaison for external collections agencies. In this role, works with external collections agencies to help provide detail breakdown of charges for service,
Refer unresolved customer grievance to designated individuals or departments for further investigation.
Obtain and keep records of all mail in payments sent to Student Business Services, keeping a mail log on payment received and prepare a log sheet to have cashier post daily mail in payments.
Maintains appropriate records for individual accounts as related to internal and external collections for the university.
Other duties as assigned.
