Major/Essential Functions:
SPECIALTY ASSIGNMENTS: Employee participates in a monthly specialty rotation, varying worksite and specialty duties between Work Control, RaiderCard, and Parking Services. Serves as the front-line customer service representative in each specialty assignment, delivering excellent customer service across all communication channels and supports SERVICE plus philosophy of Texas Tech University through work attitudes and actions. Assist in related system and/or campus events such as but not limited to: Red Raider Orientations, OneStop, athletic events, and special events as needed while providing consistent validation and customer service practices.
WORK CONTROL SPECIALIST: Assigns work requests promptly to suitable shops and shop foreman. Ensure work orders are categorized properly and distributed in a timely manner. Responds promptly to repair, modification, or maintenance requests for building or utility systems. Phone requests are handled immediately, and all other requests are processed within two (2) hours of receipt.
RAIDERCARD SPECIALIST: Issue validated student, employee, and other patron ID Cards and credentials efficiently and effectively. Opens accounts, updates account, sets flags, sets access schedules, and other transactional tasks that establish a customer relationship to ID Office resources. Assist in supporting ID office quality controls for data validation, processes, and procedures such as but not limited to: weekly tuition transactions, tuition billing for replacement ID’s, weekly clearing account report, and other tasks/reporting. Assist with regional site partners in ID distribution and production processes.
PARKING ACCOUNT SPECIALIST: Must be knowledgeable of the Texas Tech campus as well as knowledge of ID and Parking operations. Process payments on customer accounts within TTU and TPS policies. Balancing of cash drawer at end of each business day.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities, in addition to the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Familiarity with Banner and Cognos.
Cashiering, preparing deposits and extensive but professional customer service skills.
Extensive customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations and/or difficult customers.
