Our CBHC services include team based care, rapid response and flexible services that will enable us to serve as an entry point for timely, person-centered, mental health and addiction treatment on an urgent and ongoing basis for adults, children and families.

The Assistant Team Leader will be part of a team serving child clients and their families. They will be responsible for the management and supervision of staff in the development of interventions and clinical treatment plans to those impacted by mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders in the community. Integrating all elements of the CBHC , you will guide services to ensure the individual served is at the center of all care and receives these in a manner consistent with individual preferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical guidance and support in developing interventions and supervision of team members

  • Provide direct supervision to all staff both in the office and in the field

  • Provide supervision to staff on clinical interventions, strength-based strategies and ensure services are culturally competent for individuals served

  • Ensure that the individual and family is at the center of all care and that all interventions are developed and provided in a manner consistent with individual preferences

  • Manage the completion of all required assessments, obtain authorizations, complete crisis plans and coordinate aspects of individual’s admission according to agency procedures

  • Manage staff providing side by side interventions to individuals that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement. Ensure services are delivered where clients are located

  • Manage the team and individuals in providing ongoing assessment of symptoms and responses to staff interventions

  • Manage/Direct the development of treatment plans for each individual and ensure completion of all treatment plans

  • Ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, strength based, realistic, attainable and promote recovery

  • Ensure that each individual is actively involved in their treatment planning process and their preferences are embraced

  • Manage/Supervise staff in completion of all documentation

  • Ensure that documentation is written is measurable, observable, objective and utilizes clinical terms

  • Manage/ensure that the team provides interventions to individuals as stated by their current treatment plan or in response to the daily needs of individuals per supervisory direction and/or through the Team Huddle process

  • Provide clinical direction and clinical interventions to support the treatment plan process.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current Massachusetts clinical license including LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LRC, LADCI, RN, PA, APRN, MD, or be a Licensed Psychologist

  • Must have strong clinical skills

  • 1 years of experience providing supervision to staff working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or substance use.

  • Must demonstrate advocacy, communication skills and planning/facilitating groups.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, hybrid work flexibility. Full time, 40 hours per week.

Location: Lynn, MA

Salary Range: $85,000-90,000
