ManpowerGroup Manufacturing Engineer in Macungie, Pennsylvania

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting the cross-functional production team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Macungie, Pennsylvania

Pay Range: $35 - $40 per hour

What’s the Job?

  • Develop assembly processes to meet manufacturing targets using Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Create and maintain work instructions, determine manpower levels, and provide production line support.

  • Implement new product and process changes with a zero-disturbance approach.

  • Perform time studies and determine assembly sequences, time standards, and tooling needs.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on ergonomics, cost efficiency, productivity, and performance.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a technical manufacturing role.

  • 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.

  • Strong analytical skills and process-oriented problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in a team-based environment with demonstrated ability to manage change.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Catia/Creo, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
