Job Title

: SERVICE MANAGER

Location: Atlus Pest Solutions - Madison,Alabama and Memphis, Tennessee

Requirements: Must have a valid drivers licenseand respectable driving record, be able to sit or walk for extended periods andthe spatial ability to navigate to and from customer homes, periodicallycrouch/crawl for up to 2 hours consecutively, able to lift up to 20 poundsfrequently and 50 pounds periodically, able to pull up to 20 pounds occasionally,and be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

Reporting Relationship: Reports to the GeneralManager

Supervises: Route Managers, Start Techs, TermiteTechnicians

Job Summary:

This person is expectedto have a solid understanding of the proper way to treat a customers homewhile providing G.R.E.A.T customer service and be knowledgeable about the useof all equipment (sprayers, etc..) and vehicle operation. This person mayalso be responsible for delivering product and picking up materials asneeded. In addition, this person must be able to effectively communicatewith the office, Route Managers, technicians, and customersprofessionally.

Essential Functions:

Train new start techs inG.R.E.A.T customer service and reinforce initial learning with regularperformance reviews (may take various forms)

Train termitetechnicians on steps required to treat homes effectively while deliveringG.R.E.A.T customer service.

Complete the FormalTruck Inspection Form - weekly

Spend a minimum of 2full days performing a Ride-Along a month with each Route Manager on yourassigned team or eight (8) hours monthly with each Route Manager conductingRide-A longs and Informal Truck Inspections

Prepare/Perform aminimum of 1 Ghost inspection a month

Prepare and Build routes30 days in advance each month

Complete bi-yearlyreviews in July and January

Submit RMRide-Along/Informal Truck Inspection Forms, Formal Truck Inspection Forms, andperformance appraisals to Human Resources for review and filing

Perform necessarycallbacks/routes when adequate coverage is not available

  • If a Route Manager calls out for the day assign the stops to another Route Manager or run the route yourself. Make sure the customers are taken care of immediately upon notice from the Route Manager

Report weekly trackingnumbers to the General Manager by 9:00 AM each Monday: # of Ride-A longs, ghostinspections, and customer compliments

Get Route Managers readyfor the day including:

  • Gathering supplies
  • Communicating changes to the routes
  • Helping repair equipment, as needed.

Prepare Atlus Days forthe third week of each Month

Assist withinterviewing, candidate selection, and new hire paperwork

Communicate effectivelywith office, co-workers, and customers
