Contract-Hire Accounting Clerk Opportunity at V2X! Onsite 555 Industrial Drive S. in Madison, MS. $17-20/hr pay rate. Overview: Performs any combination of calculating, posting and verifying account codes to prepare vendor invoices for payment. Verifies purchase orders and works on special projects on an as needed basis. Gathers and collects cost data to prepare back-up for customer invoices. The Accounting Clerk III works under general supervision of the AP Supervisor.

salary: $17 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare and process invoices for payment.

• Use Excel detail-orientation skills and accuracy. SAP experience is a plus.

• Resolve fiscal issues with internal and external customers.

• Perform various audits and manage journal entries.

• Ensure accuracy of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare reports for analysis and reconciliation.
