Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a key part in our Wholesale Distribution operations, with a focus on maintaining customer accounts and ensuring smooth transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer payments and credit applications

• Maintain the integrity of customer credit records

• Respond to AR related queries from customers in a detail oriented manner

• Conduct detailed research into account discrepancies for both internal and external customers

• Prepare and process sales tax returns

• Remove applicable A/R holds on incoming orders based on the situation

• Evaluate credit worthiness to establish suitable payment terms

• Undertake collection actions when necessary, including making collection calls

• Support audit requests with necessary information

• Perform monthly reconciliations of cash accounts

• Execute statement processing tasks

• Investigate potential fraud orders

• Handle chargebacks and process them accordingly

• Address customer requests through the AR billing inbox in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for the role.

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a key requirement.

• Ability to manage Billing processes effectively.

• Proficiency in Cash Applications is required.

• Experience in Cash Collections is necessary.

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections is a must.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience with Oracle software is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks is necessary.

• Proficiency in SAP is a key requirement.
