Primary Responsibilities The primary duties of a Distribution Electrical Engineer include preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports and designs for distribution overhead and underground lines, performing load flow analysis, and coordination studies. This Engineer will be seen as the Lead Engineer for projects, and the subject matter expert in their area of expertise. They will create full design packages across many different projects: Infrastructure, Renewables, Industrial, etc. They will also be expected to mentor newer EIT\'s to grow their careers and capabilities. In the role of Distribution Electrical Engineer, we\'ll count on you to: Coordinate the work of the power design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance Coordinate workload to complete the deliverable on schedule. Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines Review project documents for areas of conflict with other disciplines.
