UW-SYSTEM-CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION PROJECT MANAGER in MADISON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21550 POSITION SUMMARY Coordinates management of multiple related communication projects and/or ongoing operations, which are directed toward achieving the goals and objectives in line with the OPACB and the UWs President\'s Office. Monitors the cost, schedule, and performance of communication projects and operations while working to ensure the ultimate success of Office of Public Affairs, Communications, and Branding (OPACB). MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include the following key activities: *Plans and directs programs and/or projects to adhere to deadlines, milestones, and deliverables *Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, while being responsive to multiple audiences and stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, or contractors; work includes scheduling/organizing project meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting activities *Manages program and project budgets, including monitoring actual expenditures and budget reporting *Identifies, proposes, and implements new or revised unit operation policies and procedures *Preparing presentations, reports, and other project-related documentation *Build communications and change management capability: *Develop and coordinate effective, priority-focused communications strategies leveraging that advance the goals of the Office of Public and Community Affairs. *Independently solicit information from a wide variety of sources in order to gather the information needed to plan and create effective communications for internal audiences. *Gather measurable data and solicit feedback to assess stakeholder awareness and change readiness. WORK LOCATION Telecommuting or hybrid work options may be available, with a minimum in-office expectation of 3 to 5 days a week. Preference will be given to candidates that reside within the state of Wisconsin. The office is located at Van Hise, 1220 Linden Drive, Madison, WI. Telecommuting agreements are subject to change at any time.
