JOB REQUIREMENTS: Reception Unit Clerk Hatchery Hill Clinic - 3051 Cahill Main, 3051 Cahill Main, Fitchburg, Wisconsin, United States of America Req #2001 Wednesday, January 22, 2025 Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin. BETTER TOGETHER 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week. The Reception Unit Clerk will be responsible for providing back up office support to the care team staff, providing support to the nursing and practitioner staff, communicating provider schedule changes to reception staff, scheduling specialty appointments, and other duties as found in the reception team staff job description. The Reception Unit Clerk will work under the supervision of the Reception Team Leader and the direction of the Clinic Manager. The Benefits of Working at GHC-SCW. Job Specific Minimum Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. Minimum one (1) year work experience in a setting that requires customer service skills required. Work experience in a Medical Reception setting preferred. Relevant training may be substituted for work experience. Previous experience using the telephone in a service capacity preferred. Experience with medical terminology preferred. Ability to earn relevant service stars such as Primary Care in order to pass initial evaluation period. Excellent organizational skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent customer service skills required. Ability to be culturally sensitive and work with a diverse patient population. Ability to work harmoniously and cooperatively with all personnel and the public required. Ability to act in a professional manner when dealing with practitioner staff, personnel of other departments, fellow employees and the general public required. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required. Knowledge of or ability to learn HIPAA requirements.
