Job Title: Tool and Die Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Technician for the 2nd shift to join our team. Our company is a leading manufacturer of high-end stainless steel kitchen appliances, including stoves, microwaves, and fridges. We are one of the larger manufacturers in Dane County.
Responsibilities
Maintain tooling and press equipment.
Sharpen and create sets for punches and dies.
Develop fixtures for assembly and quality control.
Collaborate with tooling engineers and tool makers to maintain dies and fixtures.
Set up and operate CNC manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
Undertake special projects as needed.
Essential Skills
3 years of experience in tool and die maintenance.
Proficiency in machining and die maintenance.
Experience with blueprints.
Ability to operate mills, lathes, and grinders.
Strong tooling skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years of experience running CNC manual mills and lathes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55723.00 - $70000.00

Strong benefits
Hourly base pay starts at $26.79 plus $2.00 shift premium for 3rd. We have 5 required courses they would need to take and 6 recommended. With each course they get $0.50 cent raise and with each year of on the job training they get $0.75 raise. When all said and done with everything it totals $9.50 on top of base and shift premium.
