JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Do you enjoy organizing and working with data? Are you interested in working with a variety of research and public health programs focused on supporting care delivery and community engagement for persons living with Alzheimer\'s disease or related dementia? The University of Wisconsin-Madison\'s Wisconsin Alzheimer\'s Institute (WAI) seeks to advance health equity through research, education, clinical care and community engagement for all people impacted by Alzheimer\'s disease and related disorders. WAI is seeking a data management professional to join our team to support this work. Work is completed in-person in Madison, or as hybrid of in-person and remote effort, with travel to Madison, Milwaukee, or other community partner sites for regular in-person work and check-ins. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter who can work as part of a team to develop databases and implement processes to effectively collect, manage and summarize quantitative and qualitative data for evaluating the effectiveness of these programs. The successful candidate will work to develop processes and protocols for quality assurance, develop and manage databases and datasets, and conduct analyses to describe and evaluate program effectiveness for WAI education, clinical care, community engagement, public health and research programs with internal and external partners under the direction of a WAI Scientist. The successful candidate will also train end users on standardized data collection and entry procedures and supervise student research assistants on data management tasks. Data summarization tasks will include assisting with writing protocols, development of data summaries, reports, abstracts, and manuscripts and sharing results through presentations. Responsibilities: Contributes to a research agenda set by a lead researcher by preparing data sets, analyzing them using data science techniques, and presenting the results.
