The role

At SoftwareOne, we are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect (Azure) to join our Technology Services (TS) team. This role plays a key part in our business success by leading strategic cloud projects and services in complex environments.

As a Cloud Architect, you will ensure the quality and adherence to standard methodologies in all our services and projects. You will also work closely with our clients, helping them define and execute their cloud transformation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagement to drive cloud adoption aligned with business objectives.

• Stay up to date with Microsoft and AWS cloud technologies, obtaining relevant certifications.

• Provide expert guidance on cloud solutions tailored to customer needs.

• Conduct assessments of customer environments to define cloud transformation strategies.

• Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.

What we need to see from you

• To succeed in this role, you should have experience and strong knowledge in:

• Cloud architecture in complex environments.

• Migrating systems from on-premise to the cloud.

• Designing scalable and secure cloud architectures.

• Identity and security management.

• IaaS and PaaS solutions.

• High availability and disaster recovery strategies.

• Cloud assessment tools.

• Experience in banking IT production environments or other highly critical sectors (desirable).

  Preferred Certifications

• Azure certifications (highly valued).

• Knowledge of Cloud Well-Architected frameworks.
