Manulife Business Analyst in Makati City, Philippines

The opportunity

The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of needs and objectives.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and use cases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to design and implement effective solutions.

  • Lead and facilitate requirements workshops, meetings, and presentations with stakeholders.

  • Perform data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and provide insights into business performance.

  • Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.

  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
