The Operations Engineer will support our PESOL plant in Malcom, playing a key role in ensuring that quality products are manufactured safely, in an environmentally sound manner, efficiently, and on time. This role will work to optimize process management, equipment and process troubleshooting, capital projects execution, improving and maintaining the occupational and process safety standards for the assets working in collaboration with local and global experts in a dynamic and stimulating working environment.

Providing leadership and technical direction for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing of chemical products by collaborating with key stakeholders in operations, maintenance, technology and production planning to meet production targets.
Monitoring operations data to determine patterns, research inefficiencies, and identify action plans to correct issues and ensure process optimization.
Supporting capital projects planning and execution towards scope development, safety reviews, commissioning, and start-up activities and when needed, act as manufacturing representative far capital projects relevant to your process area.
Supporting hazard assessments, RC EHS audit preparation, and action items management far your process areas.
Identifying opportunities and effectively evaluating initiatives in production and process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvements in our PESOL plant.
Offering technical support and leadership in root cause failure analysis for production, EHS and quality incidents to prevent recurrence and ensure continuous improvement.
If you...
Have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or 3-5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing
Posses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent computer skills
Have sound technical knowledge of instrumentation, automation, electrical and mechanical equipment.
Are a good team player and communicate well across multiple levels of theorganization
