For more information, visit www.gf.com.Summary of Role:GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking an Experienced Engineer Integration & Yield to support the 300mm semiconductor process integration team within the Feature-Rich product line organization. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration from development to production, including customer engagement. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production. Also, the ideal candidate can demonstrate a technical understanding of various processes and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered.Essential Responsibilities: Perform data analysis. Identify, understand and resolve complex process integration issues and related technological challenges. Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer needs. Support new designs with module characterization and design rule development. Work with cross function teams to resolve technical & yield concerns. Drive CIPs (continuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals. Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE). Work and collaborate on additional projects and/or assignments as needed.Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.Required Qualifications: Education - Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or other relevant engineering physical science discipline or related field from an accredited degree program. Minimum 6 years of experience in semiconductors. Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) Travel - Up to 10%Preferred Qualifications: PhD with 5+ years of industry experience. High-Volume Manufacturing experience in the FEOL/BEOL process with eNVM or HV technologies are a plus. Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace. Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong planning & organizational skills Technology transfer experience is beneficial. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, as well as internal and external partners.Expected Salary Range$79,100.00 - $175,100.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.The role you are applying for may require you to obtain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance at some time during your employment.
