Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Manassas VA. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing forklifts and other equipment at customer sites in a shop environment. You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, perform unscheduled repairs, and conduct scheduled maintenance on forklifts and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze breakdowns of customer equipment and recommend corrective actions.

• Complete major repairs and overhaul industrial forklift equipment.

• Perform scheduled maintenance on forklifts and industrial equipment.

• Provide superior customer service.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Ability to effectively use volt, ohm, and multimeters.

• Proficient in operating personal hand tools, grinders, pressers, forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

• Strong professional communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Sense of urgency with a commitment to achieving success.

• Working knowledge of personal computers and familiarity with cell phone, internet, and email functions.

• Good driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance technician roles.

• Proficiency in repair, diesel, welding, forklifts, conveyors, troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical skills.

• Experience in field service and forklift repair.

Work Environment

Service position in a warehouse/manufacturing environment. Training is provided to become a Raymond Certified Technician, progressing from Basic Certified, Level 1, Level 2, and Master Certified.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $62400.00
