DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Following directions

• Loads material onto trucks and/or trailers

• Unloading delivery trucks

• Responsible for accuracy on all outgoing deliveries

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Acts as a substitute for Warehouse Manager as required

• Follow workplace safety procedures and GWP practices

• Attitude is expected to be positive, motivated and focused at all times

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Willingness to work flexible hours, normal hours are M-Th 9:00-5:30, Fri 8:00-4:00

• Experience with maintenance/operation of basic tools and equipment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to operate a forklift

• Minimum 1 year mechanical construction experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND CHARACTERISTICS:

• Self-starter

• Extremely reliable

• Organized

• Excellent communication skills

• Moderate Computer Skills

• Knowledge of basic tools

• Ability to work well in a team

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Work is normally performed in a warehouse environment

• Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.

• Work environment involves moderate exposure to construction warehouse hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

• Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and extensive standing and walking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
