You will join the Manitowoc Ice Engineering team responsible for research & development and design of our commercial ice maker, storage, and dispensing products. In this role, the Electrical Engineer will work on complex projects to meet customer needs and uphold Pentair\'s standards for quality and innovation. Analyze complex issues before creating/conceptualizing new techniques, methods, processes, and/or systems. Apply professional engineering techniques to design and manufacture products at the lowest overall cost. Enhance product value to the customer by either Project or Value Engineering. Work with a cross functional team, as part of a stage-gate new product development process. Translate customer needs into the functionality of our product offering. Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups. Use knowledge to develop competitive advantage in new product development or commercialization strategy. Exercise independent judgment under minimal supervision, with authority to make significant decisions without specific guidance or direction from supervisor. Maintain state-of-the-art technical knowledge in area of specialization to provide leadership to the company and the markets served. Be the technical design expert on the project team. Key Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in electrical, Computer, or Controls Engineering is required. 10+ years of professional experience in Engineering, New Product Development, and/or Research & Development [R&D] of commercial equipment.
