Lockheed Martin Facility Operations Supervisor -Level 3 in Marietta, Georgia

Description: As the Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of mechanical and electrical systems within the facility, ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and on schedule. This role requires expertise in HVAC and industrial/commercial refrigeration systems as well as leadership skills to supervise a team of non-exempt employees and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors. The Supervisor ensures adherence to established policies, schedules, and safety standards, contributing to the overall reliability of facility operations.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Supervise the mechanical and electrical maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring systems are maintained and projects are completed on schedule.

- Provide direction and leadership to non-exempt, hourly employees, as well as manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure tasks are completed in line with established policies and procedures.

- Oversee the operation and maintenance of large industrial/commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with Refrigerant Management Tool requirements.

- Utilize Asset Management Software to manage maintenance activities, track assets, and maintain operational efficiency.

- Implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies to maximize system performance and minimize downtime.

- Ensure all projects and maintenance activities adhere to schedules, work plans, and safety standards, while maintaining a focus on quality.

- Leverage technical knowledge in HVAC to provide guidance and ensure proper training for the maintenance team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior Management and/or Leadership experience (formal or informal) in a heavy industrial plant setting

• Facility Maintenance infrastructure or critical systems experience

• HVAC experience

• Universal refrigerant EPA certification

Desired Skills:

• Reliability Centered Maintenance experience

• Knowledge of large industrial/ commercial refrigeration systems

• Asset management software experience

• Facility Maintenance Supervisor experience specifically in Mechanical and Electrical Operations.

• Minimum of 3 years Maintenance Supervisory experience in a heavy industrial plant setting.

• Experience leading effectively in a challenging environment with all levels of personnel, including internal and external customers.

• Technical skills and knowledge of critical equipment maintenance that supports the product and infrastructure systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
