How you will do it Management Provide overall leadership ofthe distributioncenter (DC) with a team of \4supervisorsand\60-70warehouseassociates/staff. Ensure all distribution work is performed in a safe and efficient manner in adherence to company policies, local, state, federal, and international laws. Assist in the development and support of regional distribution strategies to achieve high service levels and efficient inventoryplacement. Directly impact business profitability and customerexperience. Operational responsibility for end results, planning andfinances/budget. Set policies and business strategy for the DC operation. Operations Develop and manage inbound, outbound, returns, and value-added service processes to ensure the highest levels of on-time service, quality, andefficiency. Work seamlessly across multiple functions within the organization to understand requirements and lead change management in order todeliverenterprise-wideprograms. Provide a comprehensive understanding of customer needs. Identify and interpret changes in internal and external customer requirements. Assist in developing meaningful metrics regarding warehouse activity andperformance. Project Management Lead the local deployment of Lean Management methodologies including the identification, development and implementation of Continuous Process Improvement, Kaizens, and Six Sigma initiatives involving safety, quality, productivity, and other cross-functional opportunities. Safety, Sanitation, Security Lead operations in a manner that promotes safety and is aligned with OSHA and other appropriate standards. What we look for Required Bachelor\'s Degree in related field.
