Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join one of our shipbuilding clients. This is a 100% remote role with 3 weeks of on-site training required in Marinette, WI Work hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3pm.

Day-to-day:

• Checking diagrams and designs in 2D AutoCAD

• Viewing SPECs in 2d AutoCAD and checking these drawings for NAVSEA compliance and to meet end customers' requirements

• Monitoring and updating engineering requests (ECNs), authorizations and changes

• Making the requested changes in AutoCAD

The hourly rate for this role is between $30-$35hr.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience with maritime piping systems- designing, checking, processing ECNs

• Experience reviewing 2d drawings for completeness, design accuracy, operational integrity, conformance, specifications and industry standards

• Proficient working in AutoCAD - 2d, 3d design

• Maritime industry experience: military ships or submersibles or commercial ships

• Shipconstructor experience null
