Ridgedale Local Schools Lead Teachers -Power Hours Team in Marion, Ohio
Ridgedale POWER Hours TEAM would like to hire: Lead Teachers (2 for EL program) ? Up to 29 hours per week while the OST program is in session, from October-June, but not during the month of May (31 weeks)Potential additional income by doing in-school subbing during August, September, May and possibly Fridays ? Being on-site for and aware of daily plans for after-school program; being ready to go with teaching daily lesson(s); having lessons and plans ready for other teachers ? Scheduling observations in classrooms, to ensure understanding of materials, strategies, tools and standards being taught during school-day and carried over to help students ? Tutoring students who have learning gaps; meeting with school-day teachers to learn how to best help students; visiting classrooms to see what standards and strategies students are working on mastering ? Organizing other Tutors and Program Assistants so as best to utilize everyone's skills and help as many students as possible ? Manage student behavior and create a fun and safe environment for all ? Program hours will be consistent per week that are directly with the 21st Century program, other Youth Development hours are designed for the next week, can include responsibilities like data entry, Family Engagement planning/events, Licensing/Training requirements, or Culture Care items ? Need to have or able to get a certified license, social work or education experience preferred ? Paid hourly according to license (Certified $25/hour, Classified $20/hour), able to be on-site during after-school programming (following school schedule) ? Will need to be open to working on additional training requirements ? One-year contract
