We are currently looking for a Category Field Operation & Budget Manager to join our Sales team.

Location: Maslak, İstanbul

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Category Field Operation & Budget Manager, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Defining the needs for a proper management of the operation and ensuring the related budget is forecasted in an appropriate way and allocated for the fiscal year

  • Be actively involved in defining the future direction of the merchandising operations managing the budget approved

  • Responsible for the Scenario Planning within Monthly Merchandising Needs and the resulting Dynamic Forecast for the Merchandising Budget

  • Needs to understand all cost and top line components of the merchandising budget and to arbitrate between these cost elements; for this purpose collaboration with Operation Controlling, Sales Controlling, HR/MOGE(Marketing and Other General Expenses) Control and Planning & Reporting & Accounting teams

  • Drives the Performance Management of the merchandising teams and the Agency KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Ensures an efficient resource allocation process

  • Support understanding and identification of performance achievements / gaps versus plan

  • Ensuring the merchandising teams' budget management related to HR issues and personal rights is effectively supported by tracking market benchmark

  • Coordination of financial independent audit processes and preparation of relevant reports

  • Timely and accurate preparation of ad-hoc analysis in line with top management needs

  • Identify and drive cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives, validate, review and track proposed savings

  • Develop merchandising strategy and in line effective management of merchandising agency

  • Ensuring that all activities and plans developed by the customer management units in line with relevant category priorities, are effectively implemented and reported by the merchandising teams

  • Agency Team Management, Development and Providing Coaching / Leadership

  • Determining the strategy and guiding the agency about the efficient routing in accordance with the resources we have.

  • Guiding the Agency Correctly to Identify and Implement the Digitalization Steps for Routing and Reporting

  • Contributing to the development and growth of the category by analyzing the sales data sources we have and market benchmark data

Which profile are we looking for?

  • University Degree in related fields

  • At least 3/4 years experience in management positions

  • Prior Budget Management Experience

  • Solid experience with field operations and dynamics

  • Experience in managing third party agencies

  • Experience in a network organization with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience

  • Proficiency in English

  • Awareness about tax laws, business and financial legal laws

  • Experience in managing the field operation executions and ensuring guidance upon need

  • Being result oriented and having strategic and analytical perspective & high reporting skills
