U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command Supply Technician in McAlester, Oklahoma

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Reconcile supply materials received utilizing automated tracking system. Compile data in different databases to assure consistency and accuracy. Review records for accuracy and completeness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester Oklahoma. This position will serve as a Supply Technician using a thorough knowledge of supply regulations and policies to perform program reviews, status reports, and customer needs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include Apply supply regulations, policies, and procedures; Receive, store, issue, and shipping supplies; Utilize data entry procedures; and Retrieve information in automated systems for reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-05). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualifications requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement GS-06: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade GS-05 (or equivalent). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This position may require you to wear personal protective equipment and/or clothing. Term Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 1 year 1 day. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a term appointment will be appointed/converted into a term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
