PALENQUE MANAGEMENT LLC Facilities Engineer in Mcallen, Texas
- Independently identify process gaps, make recommendations, and implement process improvement.
- Monitoring and Compliance with Strategic Goals in the Facilities and Health/Safety field.
- Maintain maintenance logs for repair work completed on any buildings, equipment, or facilities.
- Monitor equipment inventory and determine need for replacement and reason for loss.
- Establishment and management of Key Performance Indicators ["KPl's"] to ensure service standards are met.
- Work based on performance Measurables for the area of facilities, health, and safety (KPl's and Performance Certificates).
- Use data analysis to assist in the preparation for and prevention of future problems.
- Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
- Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities.
- Complete production reports, purchase orders, and material, tool, and equipment lists.
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities at the facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues and developing preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
- Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs, performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Oversee, manage, and direct the company's maintenance procedures and operations.
- Ensure enforcement of health and safety regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocols.
**Requirements: Bachelors degree in industrial engineering or a related field of study and at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in facilities management.
