ManpowerGroup Azure Databricks Architect in McLean, Virginia

Our client, a leader in the financial technology sector, is seeking an Azure Databricks Engineer to join their team. As an Azure Databricks Engineer, you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting the Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Azure Databricks Engineer

Location: Remote

Pay Range: DOE ($85HR w/ some flexibility)

What's the Job?

  • Design and architect end-to-end Azure Databricks solutions for financial data processing and analytics.

  • Implement a data quality engine and ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure services.

  • Optimize data structures for efficient storage and retrieval of financial data.

  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with financial regulations and best practices.

  • Integrate and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights into financial data.

What's Needed?

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud-based data engineering, with a focus on Azure Databricks.

  • Strong expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, and SQL for big data processing.

  • Experience working in the finance industry with knowledge of financial data models and reporting needs.

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI including DAX, Power Query, and report development.

  • Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards in finance.
