Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description

Responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic equipment; developing prototypes and breadboard circuits; designing and retrofitting existing equipment; researching and performing routine maintenance on electronic equipment utilizing test sets.

Hard Skills

• Troubleshoot and run general diagnostics on electronic equipment

• Design and build control systems for production and facility equipment

• Perform routine maintenance utilizing test sets such as ultrasound, infrared, megger, oscilloscopes, VDM, and ammeter

• Adjust, calibrate, and repair pressure transducers, probes, and sensors

• Operate basic power tools for equipment fabrication

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and optical assembly and repair operations

• Install and evaluate new equipment and components

• Request and manage parts for repair processes

• Develop prototypes and breadboard circuits

• Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP

• Working knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics

• Ability to read electronic wiring diagrams and schematics

• Use of hand tools for troubleshooting and repair
