We are in the search for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in MEDFORD, New York, this role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including managing reports, processing entries, and handling various types of invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Handle entries related to Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Deposit payments and manage deposit reports efficiently

• Address issues related to short payments, skipped invoices, and late invoices

• Conduct investigations related to Accounts Receivable and related activities

• Utilize software like NetSuite and Infor for various tasks

• Perform account reconciliation tasks as necessary

• Handle billing and cash applications tasks

• Execute cash collections and commercial collections activities

• Use Microsoft Excel and SAP for various tasks related to Accounts Receivable

• Post relevant details and updates in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and practices.

• Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with Billing activities in a wholesale distribution context.

• Proven ability to manage Cash Applications and Cash Collections.

• Experience with Commercial Collections in the wholesale distribution industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.

• Familiarity with SAP software for business operations and customer relations.

• Experience with NetSuite for business management and financial operations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field is preferred.

• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of general accounting principles.
