As a Cloud Solution Architect in our Retail Industry, you will join a team of cross functional architects focused on empowering customers to reach their ambitions utilising our Azure platform.
In the Customer Success team, we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will join a team who enable customers to achieve their outcomes, based on patterns of success, and their investments in Microsoft technology.

Responsibilities
You independently identify issues and advise customers/partners to operate and optimize performance in accordance with Microsoft best practices.
You understand the competitor's architecture solutions and identify Microsoft's strengths over competitive solutions to demonstrate Microsoft's value to customers/partners.
You support research projects and contribute to scoping surveys for customers/partners to assess potential intellectual property (IP) needs or process changes.
You will share ideas, insights, and technical input with virtual team members using a working knowledge of specific Microsoft architectures and other relevant products.
You will map solutions with customer/partner business outcomes. Acts as the voice of the customer (VOC)/partner by driving awareness of existing feedback, insights, and resources with internal teams to add and prioritize. Shares customer success stories with the wider internal team.
You will identify and begin developing impactful relationships with internal teams and customer and partner technical specialists during initial preparation and ramp-up stages and propose viable solutions based on specific technical products.
You guide other team members to focus on customer/partner experience through efficient delivery. You identify and anticipate issues and advise customers/partners to operate and optimize performance in accordance with Microsoft best practices.
You understand industry trends and the competitor's architecture solutions and identify Microsoft's strengths over competitive solutions to drive conversations with customers/partners and convince them of the solution.
You generate new ideas for changes and improvements to existing intellectual property (IP), technologies, and processes for designated customers/partners. You share ideas, insights, and strategic technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft, using a thorough knowledge of specific Microsoft products and their context in the competitive landscape.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
4+ years experience working on technical projects.
Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
