The Opportunity:
KBR is seeking a talented and experienced RF Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on innovative projects that support mission-critical capabilities for our defence and commercial clients. The RF Engineer will play a key role in reviewing and maintaining radio frequency systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
This is a full-time permanent position, based in Melbourne.
This position will require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance and the successful candidate must be willing to upgrade to an NV2.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, implement, and optimize RF systems, including antennas, amplifiers, and other components.
Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to predict RF system performance.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of RF equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Develop and document technical specifications and test plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate RF systems into larger projects.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Proven experience in RF system design, analysis, and testing.
Proficiency with RF simulation tools and test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
Strong understanding of RF principles, wave propagation, and signal processing.
Experience with defence or commercial RF systems is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
