TEKsystems Call Center Representative in Melville, New York
Key responsibilities may include:
Answering phone calls:
Responding promptly to incoming calls from patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding appointment scheduling, billing questions, benefit verification, and general inquiries.
Patient registration:
Gathering patient demographics, insurance information, and updating patient records accurately.
Appointment scheduling:
Coordinating patient appointments with appropriate healthcare providers based on availability and patient needs.
Claims processing:
Assisting with insurance claims submission, verification, and resolution of claim issues.
Benefit explanation:
Providing clear information on patient health plans, coverage details, co-pays, and deductibles.
Referral management:
Processing referrals to specialists and coordinating necessary authorizations.
Patient education:
Providing basic information about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
Complaint resolution:
Addressing patient concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Data entry:
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating relevant information in the healthcare system.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45425.00 - $49375.00
