Overview:

Our client is seeking an RN- Clinical Coordinator to Join their dynamic team for an Ambulatory Surgery Center. FlexStaff is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to oversee and enhance the nursing care provided within the Pre-Operative (Pre-Op), Operating Room (OR), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This management position plays a crucial role in ensuring patient safety, quality care, and efficient clinical operations in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervision & Direction: Supervise and direct nursing care across all clinical areas, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and the overall philosophy and objectives of the center.

Coordination of Care: Collaborate closely with the Administrator to coordinate daily care in Pre-Op, OR, and PACU.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies, laws, and standards.

Infection Control: Act as the Infection Control Nurse, developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures while educating staff and patients.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain the organization's Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Program (QAPI), ensuring high standards of care.

Patient Relations: Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Active RN license in New York State.

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Proven healthcare management experience with a minimum of 5 years in nursing, including progressive leadership roles in an acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery center.

Strong evidence of leadership qualities and ethical character.

Understanding of the Quality Improvement Process and commitment to patient safety and care excellence.

The salary range for this position is $140,000-$150,000/year
