As a Material Handler at an eyeglass company, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely movement of materials throughout the facility. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of eyeglass products, components, and materials between various departments to support production and shipping.

salary: $17 - $17.01 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments of eyeglass materials and components, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.

• Organize and stock materials in designated locations within the warehouse.

• Retrieve and deliver materials to production areas as needed, ensuring continuous workflow.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment to transport heavy items safely.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages to the appropriate departments.

• Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following safety procedures.

• Assist in periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure proper stock levels.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
