EMPLOYER: SupplyHouse LLC DBA Supplyhouse.comTITLE: Network Engineer II (Level 2)LOCATION: Melville, NYDUTIES: Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, SD-WAN, and other related networking solutions at the direction of senior-level engineers and management. Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and support procedures. Communicate with system users to ensure accounts are set up properly or to diagnose and solve operational problems. Configure and deploy network routers, switches, access points, firewalls/security appliances, and similar devices in support of access to vital business applications. Install and maintain network devices and services. Provide network systems security through policy enforcement and monitoring access. Design, implement, and maintain network-related services such as DNS, DHCP, and NTP. Provide escalation support and troubleshooting as needed for network, voice, and other IT-related problems to resolution in a timely manner. Develop and implement solutions for network-related requests and issues. Implement and maintain network management and monitoring tools to analyze network performance and reduce inefficiencies. Maintain knowledge and awareness of PCI Compliance security standards and assist with PCI assessment activity. Attend training sessions and study technical journals to keep up with changes in technology. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans. Implement and maintain both Microsoft and Linux server environments to support network software and services. Engage and work with third-party networking service providers and support vendors.REQTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered, or as a Computer Systems Engineer, or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with all of the following: Network fundamentals, including LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN, and SDWAN; TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SNMP, TLS, and routing protocols; Cisco ASA Firewalls and Cisco AnyConnect client VPN software; Cisco LAN switches and wireless access points; HPE Aruba LAN switches and wireless access points; Configuring and managing enterprise voice systems and VoIP technologies specifically with Genesys Cloud-based voice and contact center solutions; Setting up and maintaining PRTG Network management tools; Using RADIUS for securely controlling user access; Implementing and maintaining Multi-Factor Authentication with Duo and MS365; Azure cloud and premise-based Active Directory; Administering network access and Firewall rules in premise-based firewalls as well as Cloud hosting environments including GCP and Azure; Installing Ethernet and fiber cabling; and Building and supporting Linux and Microsoft server platforms.HOURS: Full time; Mon - Fri (40 hours per week; occasional off-hours support as needed)SALARY: $129,739 - $134,739 per yearTO APPLY: Apply at https://www.supplyhouse.com/careers - Refine by Location "Melville, NY" & Search for Job Title "Network Engineer II (Level 2)".
