Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Memphis, Tennessee. The role entails the preparation of financial statements and the review of accounting transactions. The Sr. Accountant will also be required to compare financial results to forecasts and track organizational KPIs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general ledger and chart of accounts

• Manage the month-end accounting close process

• Prepare and issue monthly financial statements

• Ensure accurate coding of all revenues, costs, and expenses

• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations

• Review and investigate budget variances monthly

• Support in the preparation of the annual budget and related analysis

• Track and report organizational KPIs – financial and operational

• Assist with financial audits including planning, information flow, and timely closing

• Liaise with tax consultants and prepare various tax filings, annual reports, and licensing

• Support in the preparation of the quarterly forecast and related analysis

• Perform monthly and ad hoc reporting and analysis

• Other duties and projects as assigned Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrable experience in General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• CPA certification is a plus

• Prior experience in a similar role or industry is preferred

• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
