The VDC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the BIM resources responsible for successful creation and modification of Building Information Models and associated documents/drawings in 2D and 3D from conceptual design through successful installation for electrical and specialty system construction, by leading and instructing the virtual construction team of BIM technicians. The Supervisor is also responsible for skill assessment, skill development, and resource planning of the BIM Technician team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft 365 Suite. Candidate must have advanced knowledge of the required software (Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, etc.). Delegates tasks to appropriate parties; clearly communicates needs and expectations. Measures and monitors the work of individual direct reports and/or collective team/taskforce teams(s). Coaches and motivates direct reports/appropriate individual to effectively perform; removes barriers to success and provides feedback, necessary resources, and open communication. This position works in a team environment and must be able to effectively collaborate verbally and in writing, be reliable and possess a positive work ethic, and have strong problem-solving skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering Experience: 6 years of electrical detailing experience and demonstrated leadership abilities or Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: 10 years of field experience and demonstrated leadership abilities Travel: 10-20% Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; overtime may be required. However, work may need to be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
