Meta Design Program Manager in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Design Program Managers at Meta are connectors and problem solvers. By supporting the various aspects of the product teams, you will enable teams to focus their time on designing, building and shipping products. You will improve team communication, collaboration and remove roadblocks. Finally, you'll utilize a full range of organizational and demonstrated communication skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives intended to grow team health, subject-matter knowledge and team impact, and you'll have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams as you establish great ways of working together.

Required Skills:

Design Program Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Drive product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, and many moving parts.

  2. Prioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions and communicate effectively.

  3. Define and manage initiatives that improve product team efficiency and impact.

  4. Facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives, and establish clear next steps and owners while resolving blocks that impede progress.

  5. Proactively assess risk, raise flags, and resolve issues before they become problems for the larger team(s).

  6. Support the management team with effective and appropriate team communication, proactive problem solving, information distribution.

  7. Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively.

  8. Collaborate and establish relationships cross-functionally with product management, engineering, product design, user research and content strategy to ensure a smooth product development process.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with product teams or programs from roadmapping through delivery

  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project or program management

  3. Track record of operating under your own initiative with little oversight

  4. Experience creating appropriate programs that drive impactful change

  5. Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions with measurable results

Public Compensation:

$101,000/year to $152,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
