Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects. * Wire, calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical, fluid, and thermal sensors essential for aerospace testing. * Design and improve pressure, flow, and spray test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency. * Operate and maintain fabrication equipment (e.g., tube bender, drill press, milling machine) and calibration tools (e.g., viscometer, densometer). * Assist in upgrading hydraulic test stands, focusing on control valves, pumps, and automation systems. * Lead calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability. * Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed. * Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making. * Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment. * Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture. Education and Experience: * Associates degree- Completed two-year degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology * Strong experience in fabrication, soldering/wiring, and electronics troubleshooting. Skills and Knowledge: * Must be a U.S Citizen * Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, * Precise scientific documentation abilities. * Team player * Willingness to travel occasionally to other facilities, local universities, and suppliers.
