Aircraft Painter in Mesa, AZ

Pay: $17/hr- $35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join our team. As a family-owned and operated aircraft painting and refinishing company, we have stood the test of time, providing superior painting, refinishing, and detailing services for decades. This role involves preparing, painting, and detailing aircraft according to company quality standards and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Work under minimal supervision to safely prepare, paint, layout paint schemes, and detail according to schedule.

  • Apply primer and finish coats, sand, prep for paint, and perform other detail work.

  • Touch up primer and finish coats, including color matching and blending.

  • Use spray gun for painting.

  • Wear a respirator when painting.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft painting.

  • Experience in corporate or helicopter repaint or manufacturer shops preferred.

  • Proficiency in sanding, painting, general labor, spray gun operation, cleaning, and prepping areas for painting.

  • Knowledge of using hand tools and blasting.

Work Environment

This position is based at our Mesa facility. The work environment includes using a spray gun and requires wearing a respirator when painting. The contract is for 6 months with the possibility to become permanent based on performance and attitude.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00/hr.
